Frailty may predict bleeding in elderly heart patients

NCT ID NCT07158788

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study explores whether frailty can help predict bleeding risk in older adults (65+) who have had a heart attack or unstable angina. Researchers will follow 850 participants for up to 6 months to see if adding frailty to standard risk tools improves predictions. The goal is to better identify those at higher risk for serious bleeding, which could guide safer treatment.
