First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will test if a smart pill bottle cap, called FORTISKAP™, helps people with serious lung diseases like pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, and pulmonary hypertension take their oral medications more consistently. About 100 participants will either use the smart cap or receive usual care for nine months. The goal is to see if the device improves medication adherence and leads to better health outcomes, such as walking distance and lung function.
