Can a whiff of the woods boost cancer Patients' immunity?
NCT ID NCT05012813
Summary
This study explored whether breathing humidified scents from wood and fragrant oils (simulating a forest environment) is a practical way to help the immune systems of people recovering from breast or prostate cancer. Researchers tested this with 28 patients who had recently finished chemotherapy or radiation. The main goal was to see if this approach was feasible and to measure its effects on certain immune cells.
