Free grocery money for fruits and veggies: can it help control diabetes and weight?

NCT ID NCT06283394

Summary

This study is testing if giving people with both obesity and diabetes a monthly grocery subsidy for fruits and vegetables, along with support using an online delivery service, helps them buy and eat healthier foods. About 214 participants are assigned to different groups that receive either the subsidy and special shopping features or just basic access to the service. Researchers will track food purchases and see if this approach helps improve blood sugar control over three months.
