Summary
This study is comparing two different approaches for scheduling follow-up doctor visits after children are hospitalized for common infections like pneumonia or urinary tract infections. Researchers want to see if telling parents to schedule a visit only if needed works as well as automatically scheduling a visit for every child. The main goal is to check if the 'as-needed' approach leads to more kids being readmitted to the hospital within two weeks.
