NCT ID NCT05417555

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive technique called Low Intensity Focused Ultrasound Pulsation (LIFUP) to see if it can safely increase brain activity and improve memory in people with mild cognitive impairment or mild Alzheimer's disease. Participants will receive ultrasound to a key memory area of the brain and undergo MRI scans and memory tests. The goal is to find a new way to ease memory symptoms without surgery or medication.
