NCT ID NCT04883762
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This pilot study tests whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) can safely reduce severe diarrhea caused by immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in cancer patients. Four adults who have persistent diarrhea despite steroids or other medications will receive a stool preparation from a healthy donor via colonoscopy. The goal is to see if the healthy bacteria can restore gut health and ease symptoms.
