First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at 22 elite male soccer players to see if a special type of strength training (flywheel) is better than traditional weight training for improving how fast they can change direction. Both groups trained twice a week for 8 weeks. The main goal was to see which training led to faster times in a test that involves sprinting, shuffling, and running backward.
