Summary

This study tested whether a special type of strength training (flywheel) is better than traditional strength training at reducing depressive symptoms and improving physical and thinking skills in older women who are sedentary. Sixty-four women aged 60 and older participated in a 10-month program. The goal was to see if flywheel training offers extra benefits for mood, mobility, and brain function.
