Summary
This study aimed to find out how common antibiotic resistance is in multiple myeloma patients receiving a stem cell transplant. Researchers planned to check 124 patients for resistance to a type of antibiotic called fluoroquinolones. The information gathered could help design future studies on preventing infections in these patients.
