First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a fluorescent dye called sodium fluorescein during brain tumor surgery helps surgeons see and remove more of the tumor. About 800 people with suspected aggressive brain or spinal cord tumors will receive the dye before surgery. The goal is to see if the dye makes tumor edges glow, allowing safer and more complete removal.
