First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether providing healthy food and cooking lessons can help adults with high blood pressure and obesity lower their blood pressure and weight. About 150 adults will either receive the food and lessons or continue their usual care for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if this 'food is medicine' approach works better than standard care for managing these conditions.
