Summary
This study tests whether a device called FibroScan, which measures liver stiffness, can quickly diagnose acute heart failure in people who come to the emergency room with shortness of breath. Researchers will enroll 100 adults and compare the FibroScan results with standard tests. If it works, it could provide a faster, simpler way to diagnose heart failure in busy emergency settings.
