Heart test breakthrough? Non-Invasive CT may replace risky procedures

NCT ID NCT06790836

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether a special CT scan (FFR CT) can accurately measure blood flow in heart arteries without needing a catheter procedure. Researchers will compare results from the CT scan with the standard invasive test in 500 adults with suspected coronary artery disease. If the CT scan proves accurate, it could reduce the need for risky invasive tests and lower healthcare costs.
