New drug may cool hot flashes for breast cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a daily pill called fezolinetant to see if it can reduce hot flashes in women who have had early-stage breast cancer and are taking hormone therapy. About 92 women will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure how much the frequency of hot flashes decreases after 12 weeks of treatment.
