First seen Jul 01, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026
Summary
This trial tests whether a nurse-led communication support program delivered via mobile health tools can improve quality of life and reduce anxiety and depression in women with early-stage breast cancer starting chemotherapy. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the mobile support program or standard nursing care. The study measures changes in physical and mental well-being over two months.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
nursing-led communication support program using mobile health information
What this could lead to
If effective, this program could offer a simple, scalable way to improve emotional well-being and quality of life for breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with 80 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The intervention is supportive, not curative, and benefits may be modest.
