New scan may reveal hidden estrogen activity in uterine cancer
NCT ID NCT05916196
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a special PET scan (FES PET/CT) to see how active estrogen receptors are in uterine cancer that has spread or returned. About 30 women with this type of cancer will get the scan before starting a new treatment. The results won't change their treatment plan but will help researchers learn if this scan can better detect cancer spots and predict how long the cancer stays under control.
