Summary
This early-phase study tests whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) can improve both gastrointestinal and autism-related symptoms in people aged 7–30 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and gut problems. Researchers will give FMT to 60 participants and track changes in gut health, autism behaviors, emotions, and sleep. The goal is to see if restoring healthy gut bacteria can ease symptoms and possibly support development.
