Unlocking the genetic code of fatty liver disease
NCT ID NCT06566105
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with fatty liver disease develop serious liver or heart complications while others do not. Researchers will follow 2,500 middle-aged blood donors who are overweight or have related health issues. They will use genetic tests, blood markers, and scans to create a personalized risk score, hoping to improve future screening and treatment plans.
