New app and wearable track how pain and fatigue affect daily life in rheumatic disease
NCT ID NCT07167784
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a mobile app and a wearable activity tracker to see if they are practical for monitoring daily symptoms like pain, fatigue, mood, and sleep in people with inflammatory rheumatic diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis). Fifty adults used the app and wore the tracker for 14 days. The goal was to learn if this approach is easy to use and acceptable to patients, so future studies can better understand how symptoms affect physical activity and help improve support.
