First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This small study tested whether taking fat from one part of the body and moving it to a breast that was damaged by radiation could improve skin health. Ten women who had radiation for breast cancer took part. The goal was to see if this fat transfer could make the skin softer and less damaged. The study was completed, but results are not yet widely available.
