First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether a short-term, periodic fasting-mimicking diet can safely lower high cholesterol and reduce side effects in post-menopausal women with early-stage breast cancer who are on hormone therapy (aromatase inhibitors). About 60 participants will be randomly assigned to either the diet or their usual eating habits. The goal is to see if this dietary approach improves cholesterol levels and overall well-being.
