Could a Fasting-Like diet calm a troubled gut?

Summary
This study is testing whether a special diet that mimics the effects of fasting can help people with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. Researchers want to see if this diet reduces gut inflammation and improves symptoms and quality of life. About 75 participants will follow the five-day diet plan three separate times while their health is monitored.
