First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether far infrared therapy and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) can reduce pain, improve neck movement, and lower inflammation in head and neck cancer patients after surgery. About 90 adults aged 30 to 85 will be split into three groups: standard care, TENS alone, or TENS plus far infrared. Treatments are given twice daily for five days, with results measured on day one and day five.
