First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tested a special PET scan called [68Ga]FAPI-46 to see how well it finds pancreatic cancer cells in 63 people with early-stage, treatable pancreatic cancer. Participants had the scan before surgery, and results were compared to the actual tumor tissue removed during surgery. The goal was to see if this scan could improve detection and help guide treatment decisions.
