Summary

This study tests a digital tool called FamilyCHESS that uses text messages and a website to help people with opioid use disorder begin and continue medication treatment, with support from a family member or close friend. About 338 participants (a person with opioid use disorder and their chosen supporter) will use the tool or receive standard care. The goal is to see if the tool improves medication start rates and long-term use.
