Summary

This study is developing and testing a culturally adapted family support program for Lakota LGBTQ2S+ youth and their caregivers. The 8-week group program aims to reduce family rejection, improve mental health, and decrease risks like depression and substance use. Researchers are working with 28 participants to see if the program is acceptable, safe, and shows early signs of helping.
