Parents as detectives: home videos may unlock early cerebral palsy diagnosis in preemies

NCT ID NCT07141654

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether parents can record their premature baby's movements at home as accurately as doctors can in the hospital. About 100 families of babies born before 29 weeks will take part. If home videos work well, it could make early diagnosis of cerebral palsy easier and less stressful for families.
