Summary

This UK study aims to understand how caring for a very premature baby affects families' wellbeing, finances, and daily life over the first year at home. It focuses on babies with and without a serious bowel condition called necrotising enterocolitis (NEC). Researchers will follow 90 families, collecting information through questionnaires to measure health, costs, and emotional impact on parents and siblings.
