NCT ID NCT01498276
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether teaching mothers about their family's health history (like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer) could help them encourage healthier eating and exercise in their families. About 310 adults took part, completing surveys and using a special tool to learn about their risks. The goal was to see if this approach could improve health behaviors, not to test a treatment or cure.
