Blood test clues could personalize cancer therapy

NCT ID NCT05440838

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is for adults with certain blood cancers (polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, or pre-myelofibrosis) who are about to start their first treatment. The goal is to find biological markers, like genetic mutations and immune signals, that can predict whether a patient will respond well to standard therapies. By identifying non-responders early, doctors could switch to other treatments sooner, moving toward more personalized care.
