First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized facial rehabilitation program can improve mouth function and quality of life in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) who have facial tightness and difficulty opening their mouth. About 60 adults will be assigned to either the rehab program or standard care. The goal is to see if targeted exercises can reduce disability from facial involvement, which current medications often fail to address.
