New combo aims to reboot immune attack on tough lung cancers

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug (tulmimetostat) to an existing immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose disease has worsened after initial treatments. About 66 veterans will receive the combination therapy. The goal is to see if the drugs are safe and effective at controlling the cancer, not to cure it.
