Summary
This study tested whether wearing an eye-ear sleep band, which blocks light and noise, could improve sleep quality in 100 adults admitted to a coronary care unit with acute coronary syndrome. Each patient spent one night with the band and one night with standard care, in random order. Sleep quality was measured each morning using a questionnaire.
