NCT ID NCT07151612
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether special eye drops (esculin and digitalis glycosides) can improve the ability to see close objects in people aged 40-55 with presbyopia, also known as age-related farsightedness. The drops aim to strengthen the eye muscle that helps focus on nearby things. Researchers measured vision changes in 62 participants to see if the drops could reduce the need for reading glasses.
