Summary

This study explores whether advanced eye and brain imaging can detect early damage to nerves and blood vessels caused by diabetes. Researchers will also test a Chinese herbal medicine, Tangshen'an Granule, to see if it can prevent or treat this damage. About 160 adults with diabetes will participate in this double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. The goal is to improve early diagnosis and treatment options for diabetes-related complications.
