NCT ID NCT07561541
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether taking an antibiotic pill for 7 days after surgery to fix a broken leg, ankle, or foot can lower the chance of wound infection in adults with poorly controlled diabetes. About 40 participants will either receive the antibiotic or standard care (no extra antibiotics). Researchers will track infections and side effects for 90 days after surgery.
