Brain cell transplant trial offers new hope for Parkinson's patients

Summary
This study tests a treatment called bemdaneprocel, which uses special brain cells to replace those lost in Parkinson's disease. About 102 adults with Parkinson's will receive either the cell therapy or a sham surgery. The goal is to see if it increases good movement time without side effects and reduces daily off-time.
