NCT ID NCT06654622

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested a new blood test that looks for tiny bits of cancer DNA left behind after surgery in people with stage II or III colorectal cancer. The goal was to see if the test could find patients at high risk of the cancer coming back, so doctors could decide who needs extra chemotherapy. 175 adults who had surgery for their cancer took part. The test is not yet ready for routine use, but it may help personalize treatment in the future.
