Sit less, move more: can a double dose of activity beat heart disease risk?
NCT ID NCT07363499
Summary
This study aims to see if combining regular exercise with efforts to sit less during the workday improves heart and metabolic health better than exercise alone. It involves about 30 adults with desk jobs who sit for long periods. Participants are assigned to either an exercise program or the same exercise program plus strategies to reduce sitting time, and their health is measured through blood tests and fitness assessments.
