First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 16-week supervised exercise program can help repair heart damage caused by breast cancer treatments like chemotherapy. Researchers will enroll 44 women who finished cardiotoxic therapy 6 to 12 months ago. Half will do twice-weekly strength and aerobic sessions; the other half will get standard lifestyle advice. The goal is to see if exercise improves heart function and fitness during early survivorship.
