Summary
This study looks at whether regular aerobic exercise can help prevent Alzheimer's and related dementias in older adults who are at higher risk. Researchers will enroll 264 inactive men and women aged 50-80 with memory concerns but no dementia. Participants will either do aerobic exercise or stretching and toning for 6 months, and their thinking skills, brain blood flow, and fitness will be measured over a year.
