Late workouts ruining your sleep? science investigates
NCT ID NCT07322276
Summary
This study aims to understand how the time of day you exercise affects your deep sleep and body temperature. It will compare morning workouts to late afternoon workouts in two groups: endurance athletes and inactive people. Researchers want to see if afternoon exercise raises body temperature too much and disrupts the deep, restorative sleep that is crucial for recovery.
