Can walking slow prostate cancer? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT05751434

Summary

This study is testing whether regular treadmill walking at home affects markers that indicate how aggressive prostate cancer might become. It involves 36 men with low-risk prostate cancer who are being monitored rather than immediately treated. Participants are assigned to either follow a structured walking program or continue their usual exercise routines, and researchers compare how these approaches affect cancer-related markers over 6-12 months.
