First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) before standard surgery could have anti-cancer effects in women with endometrial cancer. Thirty women participated, and researchers measured changes in tumor growth markers in tissue samples taken before and after the exercise program. The goal was to understand if exercise can influence cancer cell activity, not to cure the disease.
