Mini workouts may boost sleep quality in sleep apnea patients
NCT ID NCT07634029
First seen Jun 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether short bursts of exercise spread throughout the day (called exercise snacks) can help people with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea sleep better and feel more energetic during the day. About 39 adults who already use a CPAP machine will be split into three groups: one doing aerobic exercise, one doing exercise snacks, and a control group. The goal is to see if these exercise snacks are a good alternative or addition to traditional exercise for improving sleep, body rhythms, and physical function.
