First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple home exercise program can improve strength, endurance, and quality of life for people with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful skin condition. Researchers will have 86 adults with HS follow a video-guided exercise routine 3-4 days a week. The goal is to see if exercise can help overcome physical limitations caused by HS.

- If successful, this could provide a safe, drug-free way to improve physical function and quality of life for people with hidradenitis suppurativa.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage study without a control group for comparison. The exercise program may not lead to meaningful improvements, and results may not apply to all patients.
