Remote exercise may boost chemo tolerance in cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07596732

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study tests if a home-based exercise program can help people with stomach, esophagus, pancreas, colon, rectal, or lung cancer better tolerate chemotherapy. About 120 adults will be randomly assigned to either an aerobic and resistance exercise program or a stretching program, all done remotely with wearable devices. The goal is to see if exercise helps patients receive more of their planned chemotherapy doses compared to stretching alone.
