Could a new exercise order help ease the burden of two common heart conditions?
NCT ID NCT07324772
Summary
This study is testing a new exercise program designed for older adults who have both a common heart rhythm problem (atrial fibrillation) and a type of heart failure. Researchers want to see if starting with strength training to build muscle makes it easier and more effective to then add aerobic exercise like walking. The goal is to see if this specific sequence helps people feel better, have fewer symptoms, and be more active in their daily lives.
