Summary

This small pilot study tested whether adding group-based pain neuroscience education to a community exercise program helps older women with knee osteoarthritis. Nineteen women aged 60+ were randomly assigned to exercise alone or exercise plus five educational sessions about how pain works. The study measured feasibility and preliminary effects on pain, disability, and physical function.
